The goal is to support gut health, nutrient absorption, and restful sleep By reducing or eliminating certain inflammatory foods while incorporating nutrients from whole foods and supplements as required.
The focus of this week is to help reduce the workload of the organs that detoxify the body such as the liver, colon and kidneys. Eliminating simple carbs and red meat during this week, will decrease the workload of the pancreas and the liver allowing the body to burn fat for energy.
